Thanks, Robert. Good viewing. And, of course, everything sounds so very learned and scholarly when spoken with the refined accent of the Mother Country.
Presumably, in DBA terms, the Battle of Lechfeld would pit the III/30b Magyar Army vs. III/53 East Frankish?

The Ottonian army would most likely field Sp in place of Cv for the Thuringian/Bohemian troops. The breadth of the open field should offer enough space for at least eight elements in line.
The Lech River (4BW) and a smaller tributary (Schmutter River) one BW distance from the board edge opposite should leave an open plain of 8 - 9BW between the two. Terrain features a BUA (small hamlet) or two plough, a waterway and river.

Good, thumbnail sketches of how a Battle of Lechfeld scenario might be constructed, Robert. Thanks. From the video, it would seem as if the Huns should have more than just the single element of as called for in the army-list. (As if more Fast Auxilia will even slow down the Ottonian Knights!) Not that play-balance is crucial in historical scenarios, of course, but it's hard to envision how this could possibly go well for the Magyars.

My thought is to have the East Frankish army less autonomous by adding two allied contingents of two elements each. The civil war suppressed by Otto ended the year before (954 AD) so these could represent the ‘less than willing’ Dukes that assembled their forces to fight the Magyars.
Option Allied contingents: Bavarian 1 x 3Kn, 1 x Ps. Swabian 1 x 3Kn, 1 x Ps.
Likewise, the Magyars might have their army jointly commanded by Chieftains Bulscú and Lehel. Allied contingent: Lehel (?) 1 x Cv, 2 x LH
The presence of the auxilia in the Magyar list might not be such a problem as they can function as a ‘sacrificial lamb’.
A better option is to have them in a second line to support the horse archers. From that position they can assist any LH recoiling 1BW while pursued by an Ottonian knight.
