Sadly I am not now able to attend A real shame as I wanted to try out the Polynesian army that I picked up as my prize last year. Such a pity not being able to defend the only international title I ever achieved... That’s a shame, Pete. 😳 See you at the Mercian, then. Do you think you’ll be running a Geordie Cup, when you emigrate to the Northeast? Martin

Martin Yeah Mercian up and coming 😀 I'd love to sort a Hadrian's Wall DBA but I will need to source a club and some players first. Not to mention immediate practicalities like a home! It does seem odd though that there doesn't seem to be any DBA played in the North East but maybe it's just not currently visible to me?

I will not be at Crusade this year, but the (other?) good news is that the Tarrington Tourney will run on Saturday 10th November this year!

Hello! There is a small DBA group in the North-East of the UK. We don't have a club, but have been playing games of DBA 3 lately, and ran a Dark Age Britain campaign (we formed from a group of Blood Bowl tournament players who were also interested in historical gaming).
I'm based in Cambridge, but travel up quite often - others are based in Durham, Hartlepool and the wilds of Northumbria.
We also have a player from Edinburgh who travels down for the campaign.
Let me know when your relocation is completed!

Once you are settled, I'm sure some DBA could be arranged!

Yep, Pete....a Hadran’s Wall DBA sounds promising (would one have to choose Caledones, Picts, PFS or Scots Common to attend ?) With Ash at Newcastle Uni there’s a distinct possibility if I’m on the “student drop off/pick up” run we could fit some games in. Used to be a convention (Border Reiver?) in Nyewcassul, so maybe there’s a local club who play? Numbers at the Welsh- Hampshire car of four, also Steve Aspinall and Tim+Chris Cale posted, Scott + 1 and maybe Alan D hisself. Any others expressed interest?

Excellent we will have to push for a move ready for the University summer term!
