Thanks for the insights on Forts, I am now more likely to try that option.

I received an inquiry on the Armies and Enemies of Rome and Byzantium event. Yes, I view army II/81(a) Sub-Roman British as an eligible army for this event. The (a) army list includes 2 elements of legionari (of VI Victrix or II Augusta).
Personally I will probably bring Middle Imperial Romans because I like the model I have of a bolt shooter on top of a horse drawn cart. And that army should also be eligible for the Big Guns event.

The Chariot Wars theme is book 1 armies with at least 1 chariot (including scythed). Classical Indian is book 2.

Tony, for the 3 theme events on Friday, can the required minimum number of elements be met through deployment of a listed ally?

Especially looking forward to the Campaign game. Was the theme announced?

I am looking forward to today’s events.
I transformed my DBA 2 Knights of St John army into a DBA 3 Later Crusader army. The Knights of St John list changed a lot for DBA 3.
I am bringing Teutonic Order vs Mongol Conquest for the matched pairs event. My Mongols are new to me from the Cold Wars flea market, all that mobility will be fun.

Mike, is there something else you would like to run on Friday? Otherwise I will run a theme tournament as described above.

Tony, fantastic schedule! If you need me to run a second event I would be glad to. Last year I ran the Armies of the Orient theme tournament and we got a dozen players. Eligible armies listed on page 137 of the DBA 3 book. Let me know if you need an event for Sat. or Sun. morning.

For Friday I am hoping Mike confirms that he will run his double time slot Byzantine Great Battles event. Otherwise I am available 9am-1pm to run a 15mm DBA 3 Tournament: Armies and Enemies of Rome and Byzantium...bring any Roman or Byzantine army or an enemy listed in the DBA 3 book, Boards provided.
