I had a previous issue back in the summer of 2019. Eventually I contacted Khurasan and he was able to track the parcel to JFK before it disappeared for good. The owner dispatched another and it arrived quite quickly (cannot remember exactly how long) I think it may be worthwhile emailing Khurasan.... Craig

I ordered an Ottoman army from Khurasan on a Sunday afternoon in early November. I was staggered to see it arrive with me in the UK the following Saturday! Great figures and great service. Craig

Hi Pat That is exactly how I have thought about LH since I started playing 3.0 a couple of years ago. A situation came up during a club game a few weeks ago which alerted me to this. It’s where the second move starts that’s crucial. Really makes the suggestion of LH only paying half a pip for a move sound better still! Goes to show the importance of reading the rules carefully (and what a minefield writing them must be!) Thanks all Craig

Hi all hope someone can help with this. A LH element starts in the threat zone of an enemy element. 3 pips are available. Can the LH retire out of the TZ (more than 40mm from any enemy) for the 1st pip, then make subsequent moves to in theory end behind the same enemy element? (no closer than 40mm obviously) I suspect it can.... thanks Craig

Hi Tony Sorry to see your thoughts, but totally understand them. Your videos dragged me back into wargaming after over 10 years away. I thank you Sir. You are a real entertainer as well as enthusiast and have done a massive amount for the hobby, DBA in particular. We are all sick to the back teeth with the current situation and what it is doing to our lives, but hopefully some day normality will return and we can sit opposite each other and “play soldiers” again! Cheers mate Craig

Hi I agree with Tony. 7 Hd on a 30mm deep base makes them look better. Think of them as poorly equipped and motivated spearmen. 5Hd will look better on a 30mm base as well for me. Desperate or just plain stupid/ mad. Fast Wb if better maybe? On a 40mm deep base they could end up looking like a careless artillery crew. “Where’s the gun?” On a different note I recently purchased a Pictish army. The painter based the 4Wb on a 20mm deep base with 5 figures. I think it looks great and may well now do my Gallic figures the same way. Craig

Hello everyone and happy new year! So do the terrain restrictions apply to LH or is command always 20 BW irrespective of terrain etc? Have always played LH as not restricted but this thread now has me wondering. Thanks Craig

OK - lets get the discussion going on what wimp wars troops would be allowed! In? - Ps, Ax, Wb, Bw, Hd, LH, Cav, Cm, LCh Out? - Bd, Sp? Kn. HCh, El Not sure? - Art, Pk, WWg Any thoughts? Regards Simon I’d just do what they do in the US... an army which must field a minimum of 6xLH and/or Ps (no dismounting allowed on the LH) P Agree with Paul. Too much tough stuff might not be a lot of use and you’ve got 6 other elements to do the paper/ scissors/ stone bit. And anyway you have to play against it in half the games Craig

Hi Simon Either date good fo me but the later one gives more of a gap from the Welsh Open so might be better. Would love at least 6 LH and/ or Ps “Wimp Wars” format. Low combat factors so fewer draws probably. And it’s good to give the little guys a chance to show their stuff! Craig
