I shall hopefully be there now that life has finally calmed down! Have been playing a bit with my friends who are finally getting into it Edit: Just double checked and dont have the kids that weekend so pretty much a dead cert! OK Oli I’ll be opening up sign-up in the first few days of January, so keep yer eyes peeled 😎… Good to hear you’ve been getting some games in…local opponents? Charley from uni who I lived with in the crack house and Carrick as well who is loving it! Using the mod on tabletop simulator as I am in Woking nowadays

I'm sure mustrum would be delighted. The premiership? Still think it should be finished (thankfully it is) but needed to wait until safe to do so Wouldn't want the 30 year drought to have an asterix!

There are different retinues! I do have an excuse for it though. Apart from an obsession with Wotr! I always thought the biggest choice in WOTR was for a Yorkist to choose Edward, Richard or Warwick for your General. 😁 Nah, only Edward could claim to be a decent commander. Neville lost every pitched battle he commanded and Richard III is a non-entity. It's all about Oxford, Montagu and Stanley, so you can stand around doing nothing and claim to win.

the problem i found in recent years of playing compared to when i was younger, is that if people get certain office cards, they tend to just hide in the areas they are for, such as cornwall and wales or hanging around london like a bad smell. made some games drag

A huge variety of books on the Wars of the Roses alongside some sources, must be dissertation time Finding lots to argue against though whenever a Ricardian gives his opinion on Thomas Stanley

Also they are going to do Corvus Belli 15mm Ancients and Medieval in plastic! Gawd I miss Corvus Belli. Their figs are just fantastic. Such as shame they went under. Yes I know they got bought by another company, but the only figs they have re-released are the imperial romans.. Good to know that PSC is doing ancients now though. I'm a big fan of their WW2 ranges. CB never went under, they just making historical stuff and concentrated on their sci-fi range

I "might" be living in Oxford next year. All depends on how badly I mess up my final work for uni this year.
