Tomorrow the EIR are having a game of HC vs the ancient British. I do now own a decently sized Jewish force so maybe next time.

Sounds like the Persian came out well eventually. My poor EAP have been slaughtered repeatedly but I do love em.

A BUA that can also be used as a weapon, I like it.

The croatian artist did not react. So I had to complete the city walls and towers all by myself. Fimo clay. The towers are completely fresh and still must dry. In front of the forward gate is a mould I made to make the tops faster. Looking great so far

I pretty much only play HoTT one day a year at Recon and have to change gear in my brain as there are so many things at odds with the DBA rules.

I was having such a good time between playing games and raiding the bring and buy I did not take a single picture. My hordes killing a hero in two of the games will remain etched in my brain.
10 of us playing including Tom 1 and Tom two in their first HoTT tourney with our own heated room was fab.

Fab day yesterday, cheers as ever Tim. Five great games with Jason and the Argonauts inspired force, ok they were my Thebans with Skelibob allies. Picked up a nice deal on some MESBG figs at B&B as well.

Really need to finish my basing projects. Then got Gaul/Celt cavalry to do but I expect MESBG will draw me in.

First of all, it’s really great that you start this project! I apologize if I touch on a sensitive topic, as I understand Triumph! rules from the WGC aren't widely favored here. However, I'd like to draw attention not the content but the form, specifically the clear and precise presentation of these rules. The numbered item, consistent structure, attention to detail, and "legal accuracy" have garnered many positive feedback (mostly from those who have grappled with DBA). Notably, there's been no FAQ in the entire existence of Triumph! rules. I think it's simply because no questions arise after reading it, this is an absolutely clear explanation. So, perhaps, something useful can be taken from there in terms of form and style of presentation (at least partially). Just my opinion. Er indoors also believes everything she says makes perfect sense.

I do think it is somewhat of a slap in the face of those of us who struggle do do three in a year. Grest work indeed. I'm usually in that category...only managing 1 or 2 if I'm lucky, but I don't know what's got into me this year as I'm on to my 6th army.🤔 You know this ain't making me feel better right? I already have to put up with a chum who buys a new system at same time as I do then turns up with a beautifully painted force before I even get the side cutters out.

I do think it is somewhat of a slap in the face of those of us who struggle do do three in a year. Grest work indeed. Oh! I’m bigging it up a bit - they are all pretty small armies. However, the trick is to have a painting box ready to go so that whenever the long haired General goes out you can be painting within a couple of minutes. All those “just nipping outs” don’t half add up! Don't spoil the illusion😀
