I have a good success with my Spartacus army but I would prefer solid horde, and one more as there were five big war band in 2.0.

Two games last night between Post-Mongol Samurai. I opted to use town militia (7Hd) from the IV/59b list in both games while my oppent used the Ax option from IV/59a. The militia put up a great fight in both games repelling all attacks, including those by 3Bd, 6Cv and 3Ax, and contributed to two wins. While I don't think of horde as powerful troops, my respect for them is growing...

I too have gained a respect for my two Sassanid 7Hd. Working jointly with the elephant they frustrated the Late Imperial troops on several occasions. At the moment, the Roman blade and cavalry stir clear of them. Skirmishers and LH are better troop types to keep the horde sprinting across the battlefield.

Had a game yesterday in which we used two Hordes for the Teutonic Order against the Georgians. (Of course, the list only allows for one Hd and they should be 7Hd, instead we used 5Hd - fanatical mobs).
A single Horde killed one element of Bows, kept another element of Bows busy for much of the game and also another one for two bounds. It helped that the Horde was in a paltry river, which protected its flank due to some lucky accidental angles which made making contact very difficult (but legally possible). The Horde was incredibly lucky. But the fact that it does not recoil, but does pursue was very useful. The extra PIP, however, hurts.
All in all, I think I want a Hordes heavy army now... ^^

I was thinking about what to use for a crusader themed tournament. I noticed for the first time that the early Crusaders have a potential of 5 solid horde.
IV/7 Early Crusader Army: 1 x General (3Kn), 3 x knights (3Kn or 4Bd), 4 x spearmen (Sp or 7Hd), 2 x crossbowmen (4Cb), 1 x archers (3Bw), 1 x pilgrims (5Hd or 7Hd) or Byzantine tourkopouloi horse archers (LH).
4 knights 3 shooters 5 solid horde
Has anyone tried this?

It's so entertaining to watch the expression on an opponent's face change when he destroys a fourth element of mine, thinking he has won the game, only to realize it was a Horde. Play on, OM.

Indeed it is! My son won two of his three games in a local competition a while back and each time lost 9 stands.
In my last game my opponent was under some pressure elsewhere and needed to breakthrough on his left, in front of him were four 7Hd (see the photo above). He knew he had to destroy some elements to get behind my line. However, he knew that any elements destroyed wouldn't count. Then when he did attack the horde threw him back along the line repeatedly!
Horde are fun!

How well or badly do Hordes do against Psiloi?
As I read it Psiloi could be a real pain for Hd as unless you can destroy them by flanking the Ps and forcing them to recoil,or get them to flee off table or into another element/terrain thay cannot pass through.,then Ps can keep them busy all day?
Thoughts?

Thoughts? Very indecisive. Hd cannot normally kill Ps, Ps can only kill Hd on a 1-6 dice result (4 vs. 8 score). Things are different if either side is supported and the other is not, Ps having a slight edge here, since overlaps do not count against them. In BG, things are bleak for the Hd. 1 vs 2 combat factors with the Hd dying on doubles is not good. The Ps would still only flee.
