Six days to go....... May make it, but roster not favourable. If I don't go, good luck to all who make it. (If I DO go, different story ....:-) )
Should be another excellent do, and the theme has great potential.

A tough work assignment, Peter 😊....enjoy !
No footie that I can see, on the websites for Pompey. Anything else likely to affect the (unpredictable) traffic heading down the Eastern coast road?

Many thanks to Bill, Lindon and all the PAWS Crowd for a successful afternoon, with about a dozen of us playing.
The theme was a good 'un, (thanks Mark ), but I found myself opting to drop my original army choice of Kimmerian Bosporan as I felt they were a bit over-represented. The Gepids I ran out in substitution actually scored two wins out of five.....RESULT!! A no-hoper in my book, but they put up a suitably Gepiddy fight.
Didn't see the final, but would love to know the result, pleeeeez, and where it leaves us all in the SoA UK DBA League.

Thanks to all at PAWS for another excellent afternoon of games. Good to see old friends and a few newcomers at the tables. Lots of knights and light horse on display with combined arms Bosporans also popular. Lots of highly entertaining games with the dice going my way on more occasions than was merited.
What is on the menu for next time Bill, camels and Vikings wasn't it?

Great afternoon indeed. My Sassanids got whupped often and deservedly, and I was amazed how well Peter did with his Sarmatians (10 Kn, 2 Ps). Good to see the big boards in demand. I am also glad to have better understood the line-to-column rule!

The very nice Essex ones were from Denis.
The non-Essex were being used by Steve Aspinall (he commented that they'd been painted by a now departed painter, possibly surname Hart, but my memory ain't what it was....). Would be nice to know the manufacturer, indeed.

When you say Yahoo site, do you mean the PAWS site?
Thanks Peter
