...i have no Nopoleonic but 7YW miniatures. A similar aera. I think if you can recognise the naton you can play also with old minies. You can allways add more units with new uniforms and use older units as veterans. So you can safe money for other projects...

My painting style has changed much since painting the French Napoleonic that I could not look at them anymore. However, I am pleased that five of the seven groups are done.
Monday, I can begin the Chasseurs, Hussar and Horse Artillery units for Spanish service.

Restoring a French Napoleonic Collection – last batch. It has been a pleasure to see the transformation of the French from an old style to new.
I have posted an overview with photo of the last batch and this weekend there should be more photos of the completed project.

Next month I will start with the enemy (British, Portuguese and insurgents).

...i like that army great work...could be a reason to start with napoleonics This afternoon I took the opportunity to take photos of the collection completed so far in a camp environment. I am very pleased with the results and photos should be posted either Thursday or Friday.
I still have twenty elements (50% infantry and cavalry) that were extra. With some extensive research this morning I was able to find correct uniform information for the remaining infantry.
The problem remains with the ten elements of Cuirassiers. Only one regiment (under strength) served in Spain, but not Portugal, so that leaves me no other alternative but to convert them to Dragoons.
Without too much trouble these and the infantry should be done by the weekend.

...your french camp looks great Thanks Vodnik,
The French now have the addition of 10 x Cv Dragoons, 5 regiments of Foreign troops (Hannover and Prussia), and additional generals. This brings the total of refurbished to 143 elements.
I am reading the History of the Peninsular War by Sir C. Oman with focus on Soult's campaign in Portugal. After Corunna, he would confront the Portuguese and insurgents, so I shall begin ordering these.
