I recently discovered a truly great source for custom decals in Kevin Hammond of Miscellaneous Miniatures so after having him create the Jack of Spades and WWI American armor insignia for my Weird WWI American army, and being soooo pleased with his product I turned right around and ordered three more decals from him, one of which is Lulubelle to put on the side of my M3 Lee tank from the movie Sahara (the original Bogie version). Since the tank was already done it was a simple matter of hitting it with another light coat of semi-gloss, apply the decals, and another coat of flat.
Then I got to thinking, since it is now truly going to be Lulubelle I also created the spare track that the movie tank carried on the front and added that. So here's the new and improved Lulubelle, which is part of my Weird WW2 Hollywood US army.
The really fine white line on the side is not part of the tank - our dear Clover (bunny) is shedding her winter coat so we have an abundance of white fur floating around!!!)
What's really amazing to me is this is a 10 MM Pendraken tank and the Lulubelle decal is only about 4 MM long. But Kevin has made me others that are even smaller!!!
