As noted elsewhere the Alternative order arrived - finished the last bidower.
Happened to hit ebay and saw a lot with 10 of the pavisers (still no clue as to manufacturer) I am using for my Low Country Armies and as I needed 4 more for consistency, bought the lot. A bunch of late armored pike and knights that I have less use for at the moment, but for the price it wasn't a bad deal.
Went ahead and made an order to Museum to fill in some holes and see if Dave will let me have some chariot horses and crew for a chariot I got off the Bazaar. 10 percent off now vs a possible 25 at the beginning of next year, but I can wrap up a partially painted chariot.

Just scored 6 unpainted, vintage, Mikes Models Indian Elephants and crew on e-Bay.
I'll be able to retrofit my MM II/3 Classical Indians with three "double-jumbo" elements and still have more left over.

Good score on those smellies Paul. A bit pricey, but with OOP figures to be expected (and actually not that bad compared to the price of some current products).
As to purchases, I just picked up some Avars and Bulgars and some Medieval and Early Renaissance Essex packs off TMP. 56 packs in total for $160 - some that i wasn't that keen on, but as a package deal worth getting.
Also just received an order from Alternative Armies - Welsh pike, late 13th and early 14th C knights, some armored and unarmored halberds, some generic archers, and some bombards. Will let me finish up a couple of Low Countries armies as all TTG figures as well as building a North Welsh Army.

The already straining support timbers in Paul's garage will soon be creaking just a bit louder with the addition of MORE Mikes Models. Believe me..... I've seen his stash.😊

Carthaginian, Roman, Macedonian, and Celtiberian. Essex miniature range. The airbrush is awaiting my mounting the minis to popsicle sticks for priming.

New year sales got me Hindus & Ch’in (Essex), Hussites (Museum) and Tang (Khurasan). BREXIT stockpiling! They have all gone into my lead mountain which was a little denuded at the end if the year.
25% savings with Essex and Museum was a nice bonus and accounted for the decision to brave the postage and go with Khurasan for the Tang. Glad I did - beautiful figures.

I had promised myself to finish painting armies that are near completion or just to add a couple of elements to complete the list options before I ordered anything else....but I've ordered a new army and a few pieces before I see will be a rise in prices post-Brexit.
I opted for the Murong Xianbei and a couple of ellies for my Indians...all from Outpost Miniatures...now my Hindus and Tamils have access to 5 ellies.🐘

Christmas, Birthday and Tax rebate celebrations all came in at the same time and justified 3 armies. The 25% off justified the 4th! 😀. Further justified as a reward for me painting 10 DBA armies in 2018.

I ordered some figures from Magister Militum to replace some that I got from Essex miniatures of an army pack for the Philistines.
I just do not like the way the Aux figures look after I glued the javelins on (BS115).
The replacements I got from MM are SEA5 and SEA6.
I also asked them to mail them to my partner's flat in Tottenham, so I can save money on postage, as I live in Canada.
Good move on the replacement figures, they look way better, at least according to me.
