The Wallachians, under Vlad Dracul, should (hopefully) be based and making their debut. Their camp may not finished (do you know how hard it is to convert figures into impaled corpses!!) but I'll post a photo when it is. Working on the marshes for the 5 x Ps to lurk in.

So we are coming to the pointy end for Landwaster
We have 23 entries in total (the game day attrition has started) and I am seeking confirmation and army lists from 6 of those.
I have 16 lists submitted and a choice of army from one other.
The prizes are all locked in
I have the Trophies - 1st Place donated by Hall of Ancient Warriors 2nd/3rd and Minors with figurines donated by Eureka Miniatures Vouchers from Essex Miniatures Vouchers from Leadbear's Tufts Vouchers from Essex Miniatures Australia Two Armies donated by Mick's Metal Models for the Magister Militum Prize and the Mithradates Trophy
There are 12 Qualifiers for the Mithradates Trophy - for that award you have had to have played in at least one Landwaster tournament.
So for the other 12 or so - you have now joined that exclusive club and can qualify for the Mithradates Trophy from next year.
Some fun facts This is the 15th Landwaster Tournament - the first one was held in November 2002 with 15 players - in 2004 we had our greatest number of competitors - 32
Since that time we have had 97 players compete - Doug Melville and David Osborne have competed in 12 each overall - so after this year David moves into the lead as the most capped player.
The longest consecutive run has been Greg Kelleher with 11 Landwaster caps in a row before this year.
There have been 11 players walk away with the Championship Trophy - Doug Melville, Stephen Webb and Brenton Searle have each won twice - can Brenton sneak away with a third this week to take the lead?
Cheers

A great day of gaming. Kudos to David Lawrence for running such an enjoyable competition. For me it was 3 wins and 3 losses with the Bosporans placed 7th. Next up CANCON.
Cheers,

Yep, a thoroughly enjoyable day...thank you David. I'm really taken by v3. It bringing people back to the game in good numbers and encouraging them to use interesting offbeat armies. See you all at Cancon....I think I will stick to Psiloi heavy (I think that's an oxymoron but ok...) armies for a while. Great fun.
