May I check please the definition on page 12...under pursuing (c) does this mean that pikes, spear AND Warband pursue ALL except Psiloi, or.....does it mean that pikes and blades pursue psiloi, but warband do not..

What you said first (but it's Blades not Spear)- so Pikes, Blades, Warband pursue all foot except Psiloi. In other words, no foot pursue Psiloi.

Thank you for the clarification....and noting the spear mis-quote. Bang goes the plan of beating Polybian Romans with my Numidians then, by drawing the blades into rough ground pursuing Ps on a recoil. Better use the Ax option available under II/40 then to try this.

Better use the Ax option available under II/40 then to try this. The Numidians have very few Ax now. They used to have 3Ax as an option instead of Ps (and the Moorish list does), but now they can take two 4Ax instead of LH, which is less attractive.

Except that Hordes pursue anything they beat, I believe, including Ps. M

Except rough going would not affect the combat value of Bd. If you meant bad going, a unit of Bd would not pursue, unfortunately, into bad going (see first paragraph of the pursuing rule on p12)...
