Has anyone tried them? Not sure if they are to everyone's taste, but the detail looks exquisite. Not much of a Late Roman expert, but i'm pretty sure the legionaries no longer wore mail? But the shield designs are accurate according to my Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome.

At this price, go for it. So resin is as expensive as metal now. They look interesting figures with character. I like them. Not convinced though with the shield patterns. It would not allow for variation. I am not a big fan of the horses either. I wish they had a bit more life into them. Nevertheless, thanks for the link, they have quite a lot of "omphh" to be largely tempting. They are definitely on my radar.

Every pack of regular inf. from any supplier I've bought all have the same shield, in fact I quite like them to be as long as th posses are varied. Horses for courses, once they are painted and on the board you'd probably not notice, but it's give and take as with any design. I quite like them regardless so I've ordered a few samples to see if they match up to my favourite Xyston's

Oh I see what you mean, as Les pointed out you can buy other designs. I do like the ides of unit names like "The Ferocious Moors' gives an army character. You could always by blank shield from another manufacturer if you didn't like any on offer. You can also buy the files and print them yourself or get a printing company to do it for you (I'm guessing they'd havr better printers) though I have no idea what that costs and possibly only cost effective for larger armies? cromartyforge.gumroad.com/?tags=15mmThey have Celts, Germans, Numidians and Imp. Roman available here. I'll post when I get don't worry man

They are, I must admit they took me far longer than I would have liked to get right. Going forward I’ll just use the blank shield and use transfers 😂

15mm Martin, they’ve expanded the range to Carthaginians and Iberians as well recently.
