I thought I had posted this but can't find it now.
Just a reminder that the Shetland leg will be held this Saturday in the Isleburgh center Lerwick. Aiming for a 10:00 AM start with two games then a stop for a curry. then at least two more games in the afternoon. Prizes have been kindly donated by Black Hat miniatures.

Unfortunately due to some last minute cancellations we were down to 6 competitors. Although a few people did pop in during the day for a quick pick up game. They seemed pretty hooked and left planning the armies they were going to build. We had : Myself with Savannah Knights Martin with Sumerians Steve with Germans Esther with Hebrew Mark with Arabic Sean with Greeks. The outright winner was Martin who took home a lovely Black Hat miniatures VSF Martian army. Sean was tail end Charlie for the second event running. He was consoled with a cracking Black Hat miniatures VSF British walker. The most Gentlemanly player was Mark who received a Black Hat VSF British Steam tank. Mark incidentally traveled from Glasgow to be at the event. Which is like a 2 hour drive and an overnight ferry journey each way. So really deserved that recognition.
All taking part were delighted with their ensorcelled marker.

Mike, An excellent report and what looks like a very successful Leg of this years GBnU. Thank you for the players names and armies and for the great photos! Nothing more inspiring for me than seeing other guys work/armies.
Well done!!!!
