I believe Edwin Abbott's *Flatland* includes a brief description of the military in that two-dimensional world - rank upon rank of the pointiest isosceles triangles (perhaps commanded by an officer or two of the higher polygons.) It would easy enough to recreate with some paper and scissors... Interestingly, there was a episode of Doctor Who called “Flatline” (Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman), where two dimensional creatures tried to invade our three dimensional world. (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatline_(Doctor_Who)Flat coloured pictures glued face-up onto our usual HoTT bases would work well.

But they might be a bit too vulnerable against flyers and airboats?

A two-dimensional magician, shaped as an eight-pointed star, would solve that issue… O.k., let's see: Hordes are a bunch of parallels, a lurker a straight line, warband three triangles, an octogon as a cleric...

Beware of my Monster Pumpkins! This one I made out of Halloween deco. They were so cheap, I could not resist... In the front row are two hordes and two lurkers (they look quite evil, don't they?), in the second are four beasts, in the last the three behemoths.

I would certainly be disturbed if they launched an attack on me.

And why not…find a use for what you’ve got lying around. 🍺

And why not…find a use for what you’ve got lying around. 🍺 Some scientific children's toys for example. Now they are the nucleus of my next army: TARANTULAE! The first horde is already swarming on its base!

Concerning my body snatching pumpkins: somehow I had to enhance their evil look... Maybe in a last step I should add some kind of cobweb...

Next in the making: "Them!"Radioactive giant ants (An idea I st..., errh, adapted from stevie) These plastic miniatures (Papo) can be put easily into different poses, so that they look livelier and less uniform. They'll be 1 flyer, 9 Bd and one telepathic Mg Gen, but yet I'm not sure how to form this one. Any ideas?
