Yes, when I use a taxi company the drivers regularly break the first three, but you get used to it.
Safe driving to all indeed, and watch out for the idiots on the road, that is everybody but yourself.

Safe driving everyone! I agree with all the above and sadly being a delivery driver I witness most of the above on a daily basis and I can add driver fatigue, having witnessed a lorry swerve lanes this morning. Be careful out there.

Be careful out there. Thanks. I totally agree with driver fatigue. I am a driving instructor and a week ago I cut a lesson short as my student was over tired and in danger of falling asleep. The number of people putting themselves and others at risk on the road is alarming. Like myself you are on the road and see this happenining.

I tell my learner drivers "You and you alone are responsible for your safety on the roads, BUT you are also responsible for the safety of every other road user within the reach of your vehicle"

Remember the first rule of Defensive Driving: 'Every other driver on the road is a homicidal psychopath'.

Remember the first rule of Defensive Driving: 'Every other driver on the road is a homicidal psychopath'. Sounds a bit like that old Yorkshire saying, "Well Lad, everyone in the world is mad except for me and thee. And sometimes I wonder about Thee!"
