Liked it well enough, enough anyway to watch the next one to see how it ends. My money is on the Burgundians.
Of course this begs the question, who make the prettiest ones in 15mm?

Interesting, but as a commenter noted, Leopold I was an Austrian duke, not the Emperor.
I will certainly watch more of their pieces, but that is a rather non-trivial error.
It would also be nice to have a bit more attention to detail on the armor and costumes.

A good video of the ‘hellspawn’ of Western Europe. Of particular interest was the depiction of Pope Leo in traveling attire.

I'm looking forward to the next one on Robert de Hautvilles. 😊 It's skipping the subject slightly but I also found this video about Serlo de Hautvilles in Sicily. youtu.be/SWssZjPpL44

Haardrada, Thanks for the link. I plan to do a series of historical scenarios set in Southern Italy and Sicily, but this will begin mid-9th century AD.
These will follow the rise and fall of the Lombard domains in the south, the Muslim conquest, the Byzantine interdiction and later, the Normans. A similar dark age project was done two years ago covering eight conflicts of the 9th and 10th century which needed three months to complete. This may take longer as it will cover two centuries.
