I am embarking on a project for next year that involves the subject army. So, I'm looking for recommendations for 15mm figures to meet the brief, including the CWg. I've already discounted Essex as I don't consider that their figures fit the period of the early to mid12th century.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on the matter.
Cheers,

Cheers, Greg, Legio Heroica would fill the period well with their Crusader list (1150 – 1190) and lesser armoured types from the Feudal and Saxon range. www.legio-heroica.com/Crociati-en.html

I would second that! Legio Heroica do some lovely figures, I have some Vikings from them and I was very pleased with the quality and service.
Cheers, Paul

Have a gander at Donnington miniatures New Era. They have Normans and Twelfth Century stuff.

Splintered Light minis are very nice. Use Normans and supplement with their other ranges as far as possible.

Hi Gregorious hope you are well? I've been looking up various ranges that may suite your needs for this army and I've found another suggestion... Black hat miniatures (ex Gladiator miniatures)... If you like the figures they do a nice carraccio wagon and between the Dark ages, Feudal, Crusader and Medieval ranges you may be able to pick out suitable figures for your army... Good luck with your project whatever figures you choose. www.fighting15sshop.co.uk/gladiator-miniatures-1128-c.asp

Anglo-Norman is an army that is in our sweet-spot at Thistle & Rose Miniatures, although the war wagon would have to be adapted form our Hussite War Wagon. (There is an adaptation that we hope to release someday.) Happy to chat further about an army pack. (I posted up some relavent pics.) www.facebook.com/TandRMiniatures/Bill

I think they may have been Joseph Ochman sculpts, and are nice ones, distinctly ‘post-1066’ looking, which helps to define them as Anglo-Norman.
