Question: should I tone down the Hun shields? Aside from a couple bright hats, they are pretty drab.

Thank you. It's Fort Toothpick. En Francais, Fort Cure-Dent. Which reminds me, time to get another box of toothpicks.

Does it have an opening on one side? Yeah, a gate that is glued shut. Getting it to open and close was beyond my fat fingers.

No, I'll see if the local supermarket has any. You have any pics of such a pill box? Loads were used in our Carpiquet game here: www.fireandfury.com/conventions/carpiquetaar.pdf. If you scroll through the AAR you’ll see the log pillboxes I made. Most of the terrain for Carpiquet was scratch built. I haven’t made a DBA fort with them yet. That is on the “to do” list.

I would think car boot is what we call the trunk of a car, and going through the trunks of other people's cars in NYC is a way to get arrested or worse.

In the UK people gather to sell stuff they don't want. It's called a car boot sale because all the stuff comes out of the boot or trunk of a car.Maybe you have something similar in the US?😀

Also got a weird x mass tree for a quid, it is plastic all the branches have bits that connect onto them with little pop in plastic lugs. So far only used one small section and got three forests for epic armageddon and BA jungle terrain.

Folks have garage sales and lawn sales, but those are just by the one person or family. There may be something like this but I haven't seen it. Car boots, have to remember that. Edit: mentioned this to my wife and she told me the NYC Parks Department sponsors what they call Swap/Meets in the parks. Will have to check it out.
