I have created a page listing on my blog (which is otherwise in need of resurrecting!). The idea is to help those planning tournaments to avoid clashes and for others to get an idea of what is coming up. I will do my best to keep it up to date from what I pick up on the forums and other sources but it would be a great help if people, particularly organisers, could let me have their dates - even if these are tentative and to be confirmed. It would also be useful to know about significant wargaming events (eg SOA Battleday) so that organisers are aware of these when planning. Here is the link derwentgamer.wordpress.com/dba-hott-tournaments-in-2020/Kind regards, Simon

I did look. Somewhat disappointed that there it looks like there are only 2 other events less than 2 hours drive.

I live in Worcester, and did a quick check on Google maps - Penarth 1:57 Newark 2:15 Alton 2:30 Bakewell 2:30 Coventry 1:15 Manchester 2:30 Portsmouth 2:45 Bakewell 2:35 Tarrington 0:35
Just one of those things.

guthroth - Count yourself lucky, I'm based in the SE and my closest tournament is Portsmouth at 2h15m and I think there is then one at a little over 3 hours and the rest are 4 hours+.
Are there not enough players in London and the SE to warrant a tourny?

Like Gerardus I am based in thre SE. Surrey near the A3 / M25.
Alton is within an hour, and PAWs OK depending on local traffic. But I do not think anywhere else is less than 2 Hours really. No London events? Maybe a task for me to put on the to do list.

No London events? Maybe a task for me to put on the to do list. For a long time I have considered trying to organise an event but it would help if I could actually get to play in an event first. Perhaps we could do some London based events. Meanwhile, my next hope was Alton in April, but no surprise that once again I suspect it will get trumped by something else.
