Hi all,
I just got my first 3D printer for my birthday, and am keen to try out building some terrain for my various war games. Does anyone have experience 3D printing anything for DBA? Any tips you might have for me? Good sources of models for printing?

Take a look at these videos from Tony Aguilar's channel: linklinklinkI've emailed Rod as I desperately want the Persian War Tower! He was very helpful and has pushed me to consider 3D printing (did I mention that I desperately want that tower?). Cheers Jim

I've been thinking about this for a while - I don't have a 3D printer, but I've been thinking about getting an entry-level model to print some buildings.
Keep us informed of your efforts!

Salutations,
A few years back I was living in a small town (now part of metropolitan suburbs) with lots of interesting 19th century buildings. Wondered if there was software to 'convert' digital photographs into input files for 3D printers, enable my model railroading friend there to put his home town on his layout...

a 3d printer is particulary useful for camp and BUA! all done on a small Creality Ender3. Korean Castle (6mm scale) (all figs are in 15mm) a modular one (different parts) (15mm scale): www.thingiverse.com/thing:3156205of course we can open the door! (15mm scale) Samourai Castle (i got it also twice bigger!) (6mm & 15mm scale) Roman brick wall... (6mm scale) Classic... Desert House... (15mm scale) You can also make some terrain parts : i also made some desert small village and a medieval one (painting in progress!) for villages, City and Castle, i finally choose 6mm scale, like that BUA don't take too much space on the field! it's not fast (3d printer are not fast), but the only limit is your imagination! welcome to another time consuming passion!

principally on Thingiverse, for example this one is nice too : www.thingiverse.com/thing:1764957?fbclid=IwAR3QbpNmN6xuTZHfCX2LMUBb8o8dEj88u7NT5hKI2KjSUvoPE21pmV7ezN4Saxon Burh Fortified Gate by Ian Harrison the Korean Castle is from a Korean 3d company, and some parts are made from different 3d software i have. (3d modeling is one of my job so... ) btw there is also a Facebook group : Printable terrain a whole new universe to discover! (i think you'll need some 3d software too, use an easy to learn simple one, useful to modify things for example or cutting things in parts (as your printer can do 140*140mm, some object could be bigger)
