Three pics of my latest - and in this case slightly ridiculous - creations. This is my 2mm Nikephorian Byzantine army, with a 28mm psiloi element to the rear to give an idea of scale. I just need to finish the Pechenegs now!

I'm also painting a 2mm Napoleonic Russian. 2 x 30-man blocks per base representing a Russian Regiment. At this scale it actually looks darn good!

I've got my 4Ax Spanish Scutati a little closer to being completed: This is a WIP of how the Xyston and CB mix (they all have CB shields, which helps). More here: link

Thanks, seeing them at this stage is a spur to get them and the Gauls finished.

Very nice and slowly getting ready for their "tour of Italy". Thanks, though in whose service is still undecided! Quite a few of the shields have the Aussie sporting colours (green and gold). Not sure how that happened. A bit of a worry!

When I think back to when I first started wargaming in the 1980s, I was classed as 'picky' because I sometimes painted the eyes on 25mm figures. It's amazing how far the standards of painting have risen in the last 30 years!!
