After some great games vs the NKE I have been taunted into getting some Biblicals.
Thinking Philistine, who does good biblical ranges. Preferably chunky chaps as usual.

I finished painting up the later Philistine army just a few weeks ago.
Mine are a combo. of Essex and Magister Militum. They seem to look fine together.
Museum miniatures have some Sea Peoples figures, which seems the norm. for manufacturers to also use for Philistine armies.
The Museum miniatures ones seem chunky, so might be more to your taste, and perhaps the Essex ones are a bit chunkier than the Magister Militum ones as well.
That being said, the Magister Militum pack for the Philistines includes enough figures to do both the a and b versions of the Philistines which includes all options, and all that for about 31 pounds. That is a pretty good deal, in my opinion.

I also used the Essex and Mag Mil figures. The Essex spearmen, with the tall reed headdresses, look the part for the solid n steady b list spearmen, and the Mag Mil Sea Peoples swordsmen are ideal for the earlier a list 3Bd (and if you get enough figs you can morph it into the Sea Peoples army, a super-fun littoral madhouse of teeth-gnashing warrior folk....thoroughly recommended 😎).

Martin I'm with Martin on this one as Essex do seem to cover the figures needed and a chariot in the range which has crew with the tall reed headress.Magister Militum can be added for figure pose change if required as they do spearmen and archers as well as swordsmen.

Gladiator miniatures at Fighting 15s also have some Sea People and Canaanites.
No pictures on the site yet, but the Old Kingdom Egyptians certainly fit the the term 'chunky.'

My Early Libyans are a mix of Essex and Magister Militum , the 4Bd are a mix of SEA8 Sherden Swordsmen & SEA10 Sherden Spearmen from Mag Mil .

Are there any 15mm I/34 Later Hebrews out there that excite anyone? --I have yet to find any. I always liked the Venexia Hebrews
I used them to make up an Early Hebrew and picked up one each of their light and heavy chariots for conversion (way back in the 2.2 years) but haven't progressed from there.
I did note that the Light Chariot model would not fit on a 40x40 base
Cheers

I have a Magister Militum Philistine Army and can confirm they are thinner than other manufacturers. Nice detail but can be bent at the ankles.

Dale has managed to get his Nubian's painted and based in like a day best I managed with my Philistine's was to get all but the chariots based so we could have some games, I subbed in two British light chariots.
Had several great games with Nubia coming out on top especially when he got to defend and added bad going.
We enjoyed it so much that there are likely to be more forces from Book I on the way.
