The FAQ team has just finished their work on the new FAQ for this year (well last year really.... you know what I mean!)
Keith will be posting it on his website...
I will post it to the DBA Yahoogroup and will reformat it to post it to the wiki page on this very site...
Look for it tomorrow!

But the new FAQ says, "January 2018" in one place and "Q1 2018" in another. Should read, "2019", presumably?

Ok...the FAQ is on the Yahoo group...I also updated the wiki page. Does anyone know how to edit the categories? It still reads as the 2016 FAQ.

A great help. Thanks. Only two items with which I fundamentally disagree, but for the sake of consistency of interpretation I will exploit as clarified!

Thanks for the FAQ , would it be possible to mark the new entries with a vertical line in the margin on the left or make them a different colour ?

Thanks for the FAQ , would it be possible to mark the new entries with a vertical line in the margin on the left or make them a different colour ? Ok... the FAQ is now linked correctly on the WIKI page. I also changed the new entries to be Italic letters. The PDFs on Keith's page and on the yahoogroup should be fine.
Sorry that this took some time. I struggled with the Wiki entry.

Thanks so much, as always, for these FAQ updates. I really appreciate them; they elevate my understanding of DBA-3.
Now if my Pechenegs could read (they can't), they would be decidedly upset by this new entry, especially when facing Rus, a Spear-heavy army with a Forest topography.
Fleeing:
Q: I have an element of Light Horse attacking an enemy Spear. Both of us are in good going, but there is a woods (bad
going) close behind my Light Horse. In combat, I am forced to flee. Since my flee will hit the woods, do I just flee 1 BW?
A: No. Flee is an outcome move. The movement distance is the tactical movement distance defined by the "going" in
which the fleeing element starts. Light Horse and Psiloi are not stopped by bad going. The Light Horse will flee 4 BWs.
But it will create some very amusing situations. "Stupid as a Pecheneg" indeed.
