Tim, the Staines leg organiser, has now posted this clarification applicable to the Staines leg of the GBnU (as viewed on Yahoo).
"As is customary for our tournament we shall be allowing players to use either 40mm or 60mm frontages for their armies. We shall have boards available for both scales.
Theme Another local variation or clarification perhaps is that historical troop types will use the nearest equivalent HoTT definitions. So 'plebian cavalry' - LH or Cav in DBA (did you like that turn of phrase) are Riders, noble cavalry are 'Knights'. And bows and crossbows are Shooters.
However Riders of Rohan elements are fantasy types since they are not real.
In the end the leg coordinator will make a ruling on the fantasy/reality question. I'll say now that no one will be disqualified for an army that is less than legal. The only practical disadvantage is that a non-theme army will be excluded from the Barker Award voting. Local prizes will not be affected.
Last year the Barker Award, an international trophy, was won by Colin at our leg.
Enjoy.
Tim. "
Looks like we can use identifiable human Cv/LH as riders, KN as Kn, and bow-types as shooters. Makes a lotta sense. Thanks to Tim for that

Thanks Tom! Exceptional work and we may use these for the Tornado Alley leg.
