I know Adepticon is still a little ways off, but preregistration is just around the corner, and event submission has started! So, my question is what DBA events (if any) will be at Adepticon? And if there will be DBA events what theme will the events be? I know the slow modelers (my self included ) will be very appreciative if we could find out the theme early on, so we know what army to buy! Cheers ~Matt

Adepticon 2019 is looking for a DBA tournament coordinator. The convention is March 27th-31st. The person will pick a theme, determine the format and run the tournament at the convention. If you have any questions or wish to volunteer, contact me at minigamermike(at)gmail.com or contact the convention directly at Adepticon.org

So, to answer the previous question, there will be a DBA tournament at Adepticon 2019. I have not heard if anyone has submitted any other DBA events yet.

Below are the enemies from the Book. Did you mean to have a different list. For example you include II/22c (II/22c Army of Hatra 126 BC-240 AD) but the Book list has II/22e ( II/22e Armies of Edessa, Singara or Adiabene from 126BC). You miss II/25 Bosporan Army 310 BC-375 AD II/26 Siracae, Iazyges or Later Rhoxolani Sarmatian Army 310 BC-375 AD You have Spanish, but the book list does not. a couple of others Just wondered why the differences
I/7d Early Libyan Army 475 BC-70 AD I/47 Illyrian Army 700 BC-10 AD I/48 Thracian Army 700 BC-46 AD I/58 Meroitic Kushite Army 592 BC-350 AD II/14 Ariarathid Kappadokian Army 330 BC-17 AD II/22a Army of Nabataea 250BC-106AD II/22b Army of Emesa 51BC-72AD II/22e Armies of Edessa, Singara or Adiabene from 126BC II/23a Nomad Arab Army 312 BC-633 AD II/23c Yemeni Army 312 BC-633 AD II/24 Early Rhoxolani Sarmatian Army 310 BC-100 AD II/25 Bosporan Army 310 BC-375 AD II/26 Siracae, Iazyges or Later Rhoxolani Sarmatian Army 310 BC-375 AD II/28b Other Armenian Army 300BC-244AD II/37 Parthian Army 250 BC-225 AD II/40 Numidian or Early Moorish Army 215 BC-24 AD II/44 Commagene Army 163 BC-72 AD II/47c Civilis' Batavian Army in 69AD II/47e Marcomanni Army of Maroboduus 9BC-19AD II/47f Suevi 19-49AD II/47g Other Early German Armies 115 BC-250 AD II/51 Late Judaean Army 63 BC-6 AD II/52 Dacian or Carpi Army 60 BC-380 AD II/53 Ancient British Army 55 BC-75 AD II/54a Scots-Irish Army 55BC-432AD II/55a Army of the Nobades or Blemmye 30BC-200AD II/56 Early Imperial Roman Army 25 BC-197 AD II/57 Later Moorish Army 25-696 AD II/58 Alan Army 50-1500 AD II/59 Armies of the Jewish Revolts 66-135 AD II/60 Caledonian Army 75-211 AD II/64b Eastern Roman Army 193-324 AD

Bob:
Maybe they chose to limit the lists for the tournament?

Jeff is correct. We selected armies that Rome fought up to around 100 AD. Augustus himself commanded 2 legions in Spain. The allowed list is the list. We hope that we do not have a repeat of the Crusades theme of last year when no one brought a Muslim army and most were Crusaders. Hopefully we will have some EIR but their enemies as well such as Britons or Parthians ... etc. I painting Dacians and Parthians just for this event.
Hopefully this answers your question. Thanks
Mike

Unfortunately my schedule for the con didn’t leave me anytime for the Tournament. Someone else can become the champ.
Also last year wasn’t all crusaders, we also had Cilician Armenians too, lol
Cheers, ~Matt
