Comics Compulsion have recently confirmed that Conquest 2018 (Christchurch, New Zealand) will run over the weekend of the 10th & 11th of November. As with previous years Conquest will include a 15mm DBA Competition. Details of Conquest’s DBA competitions are now on-line. Saturday: Six games divided into an Ancient and Dark Age/Medieval section each of three rounds. This will allow a good number of armies to be fielded. Sunday: A BBDBA competition of three rounds drawing armies with a list date of prior to 450AD. You can of course attend one or both days. You can find the information here: ancientwargaming.wordpress.com/conquest-dba/Please remember to register with Comics Compulsion but keep me updated on your plans. Hopefully we will see you there!

Time to register if you are planning to play DBA or BBDBA at Conquest as it is less than four weeks before the armies start deploying on the battlefield.
With the DBA competition on Saturday divided into two themes, each of three rounds, there will be plenty of variety. Then for those with an interest in BBDBA the Sunday Ancients theme should provide some additional challenges and potentially a visual spectacle.

Ouch! Still a lot of painting to do before then! Tell me about it! Though I have made some progress yesterday thanks to a cold and wet morning. The next batch is ready to be undercoated...

Nothing like an impending tournament to provide motivation to get the painting finished.
Cheers,
