A group of Psiloi can move in line through Bad Going. If this group of Psiloi was part of a larger group of non Psiloi could the non Psiloi elements of the group Group move past a Wood with the Psiloi elements moving through the Woods for 1 pip ? Question: is this one group move or two group moves ?

Two group moves. Per Page-8, last paragraph: "A group move...across bad going must be in a column unless entirely by Psiloi". (Emphasis added.)

I am assuming that only the psiloi are moving through the woods and the rest of the group are moving adjacent to the woods...
I am sure people with far more DBA experience will have the right answer, but from my perspective I would think it would be that they would no longer be one group, mostly because of the fact of the bad going affecting command distance... once the psiloi enter the woods, they are in essence a separate entity from the other elements that still are technically in line with them, but now have a different command distance.

Interesting question (Group part in part out of Bad). But I think the general rule is the Group move takes the worse case situation - so its a Group not entirely of Ps moving at least partially through Bad.

That's my interpretation as well (barring more experienced hands). - As soon as the group touches the woods, they enter bad going. The entire group would count as entering bad going if they wanted to stay as a group
- Only groups in column or entirely of Ps may move through bad going as a group
- The group currently consists of mixed Ps and others
- Therefore, they would have to split up into two separate groups, one of only Ps, one of the rest
- Since they are nicely divided by all the Ps are in the woods as one group, and all the rest in the open as the other, it's easy to divide them, and they can all stay in line
- As soon as they touched the woods, their move as one group would end, and they would have to take another move next bound to keep moving through the woods as 2 groups (only the Ps are moving through the woods)

Yes I tend to agree, the group must be 'entirely of Psiloi' as stated in the Rule Book bottom of page 8, so it becomes two groups. Thanks for the comments.
