Too bad I'm almost done with my Ottoman army and I am happy with the figures I chose.
Timing IS everything.

I've been watching the range as it was slowly released on the Khurasan Facebook page. Timing is everything. I was considering doing the Ottomans using OG figures. But I'll scarp that plan and use these. Beautiful paint job as well. That really helps the sales pitch IMO. Other companies should take note.

There don't seem to be any figures in that range suitable as the Fast Horde. Then again, as gorgeous as that Artillery model is, even I might opt for the Art over a Horde.

Fast Hd are very interesting to play (Spartacus has 4 of them). Since they recoil on ties, they don't stand as fast as Solid Hd, and they are fast moving through bad going as single elements. BUT their cost for a "line move" through bad going is prohibitive in PIPs! Do not get trapped that way! Their best use is to use their speed over rough going, but DO NOT expect to leverage their "fast" status in any kind of bad going! The "-2" for being in bad going is also catastrophic, and even Fast Ax will clobber them in the woods...
