Having trouble uploading a photo. It's about 500KB. Keep getting the error message that the forum has exceeded it's limit on attachments. Anybody else having this problem?
Cheers
Jim

Yes I think I read the error message as the forum has run out of file space...

Uh-oh! Time to clean up, or time to belly up and purchase more space for attachments?

How do you delete photos that we have posted already that might be out of date?

Ran into this back on the 17th and noted it in a post on the 'Whose painting what?' thread.
Be nice to know what the limit is. Hate to prune some of the AAR photos and examples of what people of have been working on.

Not having any luck finding out how to delete old images etc to free up space, sorry. It maybe that it needs the site owner/admin to have the correct access as I am only a moderator.

I've just deleted some (about a dozen) of the pics I put onto tournament threads a couple of years ago. To do that I edited the post, removed attachments using the 'Edit Attachments' button.....After that I tried to upload three extra pics onto the Mercian DBA 2018 thread, and was successful.
It MAY be that to add content we'll need to go back over old threads and delete our photo uploads ().....I'm not compooter-savvy, but it seems to have worked. This may involve individual members clearing the old posts they put on the forum (??).
Martin
Shame to lose old pics, though

Thanks for this martin! I think we may have to take responsibility for house keeping our own pictures to help keep the space free. Especially as I would not want to dabble with other peoples pictures in case they still need them on the forum.

How do you delete photos that we have posted already that might be out of date? Apparently you can remove photo's using the Edit post button and then edit attachment.

On the off chance someone might be curious about what I had posted a while back when looking for a manufacturer I put copies of the attached photos in the post on flickr. I then edited the post, deleted the attached photos, and added the links to the photos to the post.
Clears some storage here while still letting someone view them in the future. At least until flickr goes photobucket...
