Tried all ten scenarios today..........a few challenging ones on there π³πππ
Terrain was very, VERY influential. Will be interested to see how the boards look on the day, and to avoid embarrassment am planning to pack my 'only throws a six' dice π

Serious danger of a few drawn games, it seemed, given the time constraints....but Saturday will tell.
See you there. π

Paul, I know that wargamers are often perceived as not very good at social interaction and small talk, but, er, what's the weather like down your way at the moment? Scott

Paul, I know that wargamers are often perceived as not very good at social interaction and small talk, but, er, what's the weather like down your way at the moment? Scott Was not good here yesterday, but it's calm now and not due to snow again until, possibly early Sat am and then only lightly, according to the various forecasts. The main roads, such as the A46, are sound. Hammerhead website is saying that it's all full steam ahead currently (see below): Hammerhead 2018 is good to go!
Newark Showground have assure us that all roadways at the showground will be clear. The weather forecast for Saturday in Newark is fine - no snow, above freezing with a light breeze.
With THREE points of entry to Hammerhead, we will get you in quickly and efficiently, opening the doors as early as we can to both halls - we won't leave you queuing outside!

Notification on the website now that Hammerhead has been postponed now from this weekend, due to adverse weather conditions, and will be taking place now on Saturday 28th April. Can people let me know whether they'll still be able to make the new date or not..?
Hammerhead 2018 Re-scheduled
Due to local adverse weather the police have closed access to Newark Showground. Therefore Hammerhead has been re-scheduled for 28th April 2018.
